The 32-year-old Canadian Parkinson patient Benjamin Stecher has published a very well-founded compilation of the (possible) future in the field of Parkinson's therapy research in a blog post. The basis for this was a trip lasting several months to various internationally recognized Parkinson's experts and research centres. The list includes cell replacement therapies based on embryonic or induced pluripotent stem cells, which are being intensively researched, especially in Europe, the USA and Japan.
